The Retail Sales Specialist position is the best outside sales
entry point into the company and a proven launch pad for fast
track growth. These are territory account manager positions. We
pride ourselves on our internal promotional policy and promote
based on meeting and exceeding performance expectations into more
senior outside sales, sales management or other areas of the
company. We currently have the following territories available:
Chicago, New York City, Boston, Pittsburgh, Kansas City,
Lexinton, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, Orlando, Oakland, Denver.

<b>Requirements: </b>
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree
</li><li>Must have a valid driver's license, a good driving
record, a personal computer and personal credit card for
company-reimbursed expenses
</li><li>2- 5 years of experience in sales or related
field</li></ul>

<i>To be considered for this opportunity you must meet the above
requirements. Applicants who do not meet this requirement will
not be considered.</i>

<b>Compensation:</b>
<ul><li>Competitive base salary with quarterly bonuses of up to
$2,500
</li><li>Outstanding benefits, including company van, cell phone,
and PDA</li></ul>

<b>Responsibilities: </b>
Your mission will be to promote and increase the sales of our
fiber cement Hardiplank siding and Hardibacker products in retail
stores within your territory, typically retail stores such as
Home Depot and Lowes. You will work independently, operating out
of your home office. We'll supply you with all the essentials,
including a handheld device, cell phone, company van (including
all insurance, maintenance and gas), and promotional materials.
Your responsibilities will include:
<ul><li>Educating the store employees, customers and contractors
on James Hardie products
</li><li>Conducting extensive product knowledge training
</li><li>Competitive Analysis, managing inventory levels
</li><li>Managing Point-Of-Purchase displays and merchandising
</li></ul>
