~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Water/Wastewater Seller-Doer. Individual will have key
responsibility in working with clients, managing projects and
leading project teams in successfully winning and executing
water/wastewater projects. Experience in developing sound
solutions to technical problems, leading project teams, and
managing schedule and budget issues is required. Lead the
water/wastewater group for office.

Typical responsibilities and goals for this position include:

* Engage in marketing activities to promote business
development, particularly with MSD. Anticipated time requirement
is 20%.
* Identify and meet with prospective clients to determine
needs.
* Work with Marketing, take the lead on responding to RFPs and
RFQs for water and wastewater projects.
* Participate in professional organizations such as local
associations, AWWA, WEF, ASCE to network with potential clients
and promote business development.
* Participate in interviews/presentations to clients.
* Sales goal is $300,000 the first year, $500,000 per year
thereafter, to be agreed upon each year through the goal setting
process.
* Take responsibility for preparation and administration of
budget and schedule for each project under your supervision.
* Select project teams, coordinate and delegate responsibilities
to team members.
* Provide technical and administrative direction to
subordinates, mentor junior staff.
* Project chargeable goal is 60% the first year, 70% per year
thereafter.
* Periodically review budget and billing status of your projects
and prepare invoices as required.
* Manage project scope issues and seek contract amendments from
clients when needed for out of scope work, with approval of the
Senior Managing Engineer.

10 years or more experience required. Fully capable of putting
Plans, Specs, and Estimates together. Have experience with or be
able to demonstrate ability to perform project management on
small and large municiple water/wastewater infrastructure
projects. Project experience can include treatment facilities
and collection/distribution systems. Establish shedules, budgets
and track them. Put together multi-disciplinary teams for the
completion of projects. Supervise a team of project engineers.
Must hold PE registration in the state or have the ability to
obtain one in six months.
