Job Functions: Administrative - Clerk, Customer service &
support, Health - Other, Insurance - This position is located in
Portland, ME. Come and share your professional expertise with

services. UnumProvident claims professionals will provide
accurate claims adjudication and superior customer service in our
Long Term Disability Unit. We offer extensive training, a defined

Candidates Possess: * Bachelor's degree and /or ALHC, HIA,
CLTCP, or FLMI professional claims designations desired. *
Strong analytical, math and decision making skills. * Ability to
work in a fast-paced environment. * Strong multi-tasking, time
management, organizational skills. * Strong research and
investigative skills. * Superior customer service orientation.

technical rationale for claim decisions, appeals and complaints.
Experienced Claims Professionals Skills Include: * Strong
knowledge of group long term disability contracts to ensure
sound, consistent claim determinations. * Problem solving by
demonstrating analytical thinking, recognizing multiple
connections to reach appropriate claim decisions in the most
expeditious and customer oriented manner. * Effectively utilize
a broad spectrum of claim management resources to ensure correct,
timely claim decisions within legal and UnumProvident service
standards. * Strong medical knowledge is desired in order to
partner with onsite Clinical Consultant/RNs, Vocational Rehab
Consultants and Medical Directors. * Able to discern key legal
issues in a claim and formulate strategy based on risk
