Qualified candidate will rollout and support very complex supply
chain applications. Lead execution of a range of medium to large
projects for multiple business units. Work independently, receive
direction through monitoring of progress and results. Although
expert help will be available in many cases, the nature of many
projects or system support issues requires original and
independent thinking to a reasonable extent, especially when
multiple systems, businesses and complex technology is involved.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Rollout and provide 2nd level support
for supply chain applications. Identify requirements, manage
project scope, and coordinate for justifiable solutions. Maintain
do***entation for the supply chain application environment.
Participate in a 6 week pager rotation. Support hour 7am - 7pm
M-F (excluding Holidays) - During monthly processing you will be
required to extend support hours. Enhance and upgrade application
environment. Participate in version upgrades with vendors, site
personnel and other Cargill resources. Mentor new or less
experienced employees Communicate effectively with business
peers, IT peers and vendors to solve business/technical problems
and provide technical solutions. Make independent decisions
regarding on the spot operational and application corrections.
Make recommendations regarding business and IT procedures.
Identify cost effective, technically efficient solutions within
the supply chain application portfolio. Understand and drive
technology through innovative means. Identify impacts to current


using appropriate terminology and forms. Stay current with
Cargill's businesses and technologies. Demonstrate understanding
of both business requirements and technology requirements.
REQUIRED SKILLS: Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Computer
Science or MIS, or equivalent experience. 6 plus years of
business and/or IT experience with demonstrated business
management knowledge to resolve multidisciplinary process
problems and to leverage resources to deliver solutions. Ability
to achieve significant results within complexities of a single
business with multiple related business functions. Proven skills
in sharing information and expertise with others, delivering
solutions and performing root cause ****ysis. Broad
understanding, demonstration, and creative use of standard
technologies in developing or supporting complex business
applications. Strong written and verbal communication skills at
all levels of the organization, including the ability to
communicate technical and business information to both technical
and non-technical people. Demonstrated ability to work
successfully in both a team environment and independently.
Ability to quickly cut through complex issues and choose best
