Description: A multibillion dollar consumer manufacturing company location in the upper midwest is currently seeking a Senior Corporate Recruiter. This person will be reporting to the Director of Work Force Planning, and will be responsible for meeting the objectives of the corporate staffing and workforce planning department by sourcing, qualifying, and facilitating the hiring of quality employees for the company. Develops and executes progressive integrated recruitment solutions using direct sourcing, industry networking, employee referrals, internet sourcing, minority and trade job fairs and college programs. Directs and executes senior level and executive job vacancies. Consults and partners with hiring managers on interviewing techniques and employment practices. Interfaces and consults with hiring managers to understand business and recruitment needs to develop effective business partnerships and project future workforce needs. Builds strong understanding of the uniqueness within each business unit that is supported.Works closely with outside sources (e.g., vo-techs, colleges, job service, and employment agencies) in recruiting applicants. Works with internal and external constituents to develop network with professional organizations, minority and public service agencies. Interviews and qualifies prospective quality candidates. Evaluates candidates backgrounds, makes hiring recommendations, and extend offers of employment. Assembles do***entation involving employment packages. Partners effectively with members of the Corporate Human Resource unit throughout the recruiting process. Conducts appropriate research and maintains an up to date file on various colleges and universities to assist in the selection of key colleges for future recruiting activities. Prepares reports, do***enting recruitment activity and effectiveness. Partners with Workforce Planning Director to develop college recruiting and special recruiting programs.
