Description: Major Duties:
·Overall Project Management responsibility for the deployment and inventory of network elements/equipment.


·Responsible for the review, approval, and coordination of the implementation of system Node Combining Plans, Node Certifications, and general market upgrades.
·Provide assistance to Deployment Engineers in planning, provisioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of routers and networking gear.
·Work with other CIPS Departments on evaluate, develop, and implement of IOS, and other element configurations
·Assist Comcast field locations in the deployment of High Speed Data Service.
·Periodic travel to field locations may be required
·Other Duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
·Bachelor’s degree required in Engineering/Computer Science/Computer Systems Management or one year directly related experience.
Experience:
·A minimum of 1 years of project management experience in a large and complex environment.
·Understanding of network diagrams, maps, and equipment rack design.
·Experience in CMTS configuration and troubleshooting desirable but not required.
·Project Management and / or Cisco Certifications are highly desirable.
·Understanding of TCP/IP networking (e.g. ARP, IP, TCP, DNS, and SNMP) and routing protocols
·Experience in CMTS configuration and troubleshooting desirable but not required.
·Understanding of commonly used lower-layer technologies (e.g. Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, T1/T3 lease-lines)
·Experience in RF distribution-system theory and troubleshooting.
·Proven ****ytical, problem solving and organizational ability
·Excellent oral/written communication and inter-personal skills
·Familiar with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite
