JAVA/WEB DEVELOPER JOB DESCRIPTION:

Senior JAVA/WEB developers to build, enhance and support web based applications . These applications have been deployed, with both client and Web browser based GUIs interfacing to application servers interfacing to multiple back office legacy systems, data warehouses and other applications. The candidate will be involved with all aspects of the “full system life cycle”.

Technology Platforms:
Java, J2EE, Sybase, Oracle, Websphere and Weblogic, Visigenics, MQ Series, Solaris, NT4.0 and various Web Technologies

Qualifications:
5-8 years experience developing Object Oriented applications in a full system life cycle environment within a publicly traded corporation and a minimum of 3 years having developed with Java.

Required:
B.S. in Computer Science, MIS or Electrical Engineering or a related quantitative discipline.

Big Plus:
A Masters degree in Business, Computer Science or a related quantitative discipline.

Big Plus:
Previous Team Lead experience.

Required:
Financial industry (Brokerage: Sales and Trading ,
Quantitative/****ytics/Research) experience.
