Job Functions: Service/Skilled - Warehouse - Position Purpose
Under general supervision, a General Warehouse Associate is
responsible for the accurate storing, picking, packing, and
receiving of merchandise while meeting facility standards of
safety, security, accuracy, and productivity. Major Tasks,
Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities * Goods labeled for
easy storage and retrieval. * Stocking - Move product to forward
and secondary storage areas with proper equipment. Efficiently
stack and store the merchandise in pre-assigned areas. All
merchandise movement must be do***ented in accordance to
Distribution Center policy and procedure. * Order Picking -
Gather in-stock items ordered by customers while meeting
productivity, accuracy, and customer service goals. * Packing -
Prepares customers orders for shipment, using all prescribed
packaging methods to ensure integrity of shipment. Safety,
Sanitation, Security - Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work
area. Assist in maintaining the security of the Distribution
Center. Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards. * Customer Service -
Carry out assigned customer service activities such as responding
to inquiries, processing orders, and handling complaints, in a
prompt, courteous and effective manner. Generate and input all
related paperwork and necessary information required for SPORT
request processing. Issue credits to customers as required. *
Other Duties - Participate in cycle counting activities; perform
labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repackaging activities
as needed. Along with other duties deemed necessary by your
Supervisor to meet Distribution Center and customer service
goals. Nature and Scope Environmental Job Requirements While
performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly
exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally
exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the
work environment is usually moderate. Essential Functions:
Minimum Qualifications * Must be eigh**** years of age or older *
Must pass the Drug Test * Must pass the Background Check * Must
pass pre-employment tests if applicable Education Required -
Minimal or no educational requirement for this job.
