~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Job Functions: Accounting - This position reports to the
Director-Federal Tax. Responsible for advising tax management on
all tax accounting aspects of assigned Strategic Business Unit
(SBU). Performs the professional federal tax functions associated
with assigned Strategic Business Units (SBUs), including the
federal income tax compliance, financial reporting and planning
and various tax accounting special projects. Also performs tax
research on specific book tax accounting and tax issues as
needed. 1. Ac***ulates and ****yzes data received from assigned
SBUs as required for federal income tax return compliance, tax
financial reporting and federal tax planning. 2. Performs all tax
accounting associated with assigned SBUs, including all schedule
M's etc. 3. Maintains all deferred tax and other tax balance
sheet accounts for assigned SBU. 4. Responsible for ****ysis of
all assigned SBU tax submissions including operating plan,
forecast, actual and the annual tax data package. 5. Assists in
the ****ysis and preparation of data required by the Director of
Federal Audits. 6. Assists the Director-Federal Tax in various
phases of federal tax return preparation and federal financial
tax accounting and federal tax planning. 7. Prepares joint
venture and partnership tax returns as required. 8. Researches
laws, regulations and other authority to support tax planning
measures and positions. 9. Assist SBU Director of Taxes and other
SBU accountants/****ysts as needed. BS in accounting plus 6 years
tax accounting experience in a large multi-national corporation
and/or CPA firm tax department. Tax accounting and financial
reporting experience, and use of computer systems and software


desirable. An individual who is an initiator, team player,
customer focused, sets aggressive goals, is energetic, accurate,
and anticipates problems and brings them to the attention of
appropriate stakeholders while most importantly being highly
creative with the ability to actually execute to realize
