Description: The requirement is for a senior application architect to help produce architecture(s) for near real time reporting repositories (Subject area data warehouses). This person will work closely with the Lead Architect and other members of the architecture team. This person will also communicate on a regular basis with application developers and system support group personnel.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
The candidate should have a through knowledge of mainframe, distributed and J2EE technologies and be able to work with and communicate effectively with mainframe and distributed system developers, architects (application and infrastructure), and database administrators. A working knowledge of mainframe programming languages such as COBOL and distributed system languages such as Java is a must. Knowledge and working experience of formal language theory and rule based systems is a critical component of this job function as the client desires to decouple business logic from the actual application code. The candidate must have strong writing and presentations skills and be able to discuss design alternatives in a positive and non-adversarial manner.
