Description: Responsible for LAN implementation and administration, desktop hardware/software installation, and management of technical staff for the LAN Department. The LAN Department consists of five professional staff. Duties include managing the acquisition and maintenance of the LAN and network environments for a large remote operation; overseeing LAN and WAN performance in support of the local Unisys site operation; overseeing the planning, management and acquisition of Novell, NT and UNIX based server environment; liaison with Practice development site technical staff and the Salt Lake City Service Center. The position requires a fair amount of direct customer interface.

Minimum six years in LAN administration including installation, maintenance, performance monitoring and trouble shooting; two years of which must have been as a supervisor and two years as a manager in a large-scale computer environment. Must be MCSE certified. Experience with Microsoft NT/Windows 2000, Solaris, PC and server hardware, Cisco Routers, Nortel Network and Hubs, Dell Servers, WAN and LAN environments a plus.
