Description:
****ysis of Business Functions
· ****yzes key business functions such as sales and marketing, product development, reservations, inventory management, tour operations, cost ****ysis, finance, etc., in order to develop new or modified information processing systems.
· Prepares workflow charts and diagrams to specify in detail operations to be performed by equipment and computer programs and operations to be performed by personnel.

Customer and Business Needs
· Consults with business units to identify and do***ent business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements (such as forms to data input, how data is to be summarized, formats for reports, data usage, etc.) and security requirements.
· Reviews computer system capabilities and workflow limitations to determine if requested program or program change meets customer requirements.

Functional Specifications
· Writes and maintains functional specifications for new or modified business systems. Tracks and do***ents changes to functional and business specifications.
· Consults with systems ****ysts and programmers to identify, evaluate, design and develop automated business systems and procedures.

Test Plans
· Develops and implements plans to test business and functional processes during system development, quality assurance testing and customer acceptance.

Systems Development
· Works with programmers to develop, test, install and modify programs.
· Assists programmers in resolution of work problems related to flow charts, project specifications, or programming.
· Monitors and do***ents post-implementation problems and revision requests.
