Description: (2nd Shift:Tues-Sat)

- Provide first level technical support during problem determination and resolution.

- Interfaces directly with customer to provide operational support during testing or a disaster.

- Review test plan do***ents and set up required system resources prior to start of subscriber’s test.

- Review subscriber’s prior test history to anticipate issues and prevent recurrence of previous problems.

- Conduct pre-testing and Professional Services activities as required.

- Assist with equipment installation/relocation.

- Participate in subscriber conference calls and workshops.

- Assist in training and mentoring the DRS I.

- Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

- BS degree or equivalent work experience required.

- Min 3 years administrative experience in a midrange SUN/HP UNIX computing environment required.

- Strong SUN/HP hardware knowledge highly desired.

- Min 2 years PC, LAN/WAN experience required.

- Min 1 years experience in a role involving direct customer contact (internal and external) required.

- Knowledge of backup restore methodologies, exposure to large-scale hardware configurations a plus.

- Experience working with multiple UNIX midrange platforms highly desired.

- Previous experience in a DR role preferred.

- Working knowledge of TCP/IP a plus.

- Must be able to lift a minimum of 35 pounds as needed for test set up.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

- Must be able to work shift weekend and/or rotational work as needed.

- Must be self-motivated, team player, and able to immediately contribute to a fast paced, deadline intensive environment.

- Must be able to learn quickly in a highly technical fast paced environment. Proficiency in Windows based applications, WORD, EXCEL and database experience.
