Skills: 5+yrs exp in testing through a full system development life
cycle. Specifically, in designing, developing and implementing
test plans, test cases, and test processes of web and
client/server applications which provide simple to complex
business solutions. Experience in do***enting test results for
corrective actions, reporting and audits.
Exp developing test processes for use by Software Development and
Software Acquisition groups.
Knowledge of CMM® or CMMI® test requirements.
Working knowledge of and skills in the use of CaliberRM®,
Embarcadero Describe®, +, MS Server 2000 or other relational
databases.
Have testing knowledge of Microsoft .Net Framework and
the following .Net languages, ASP.NET, VB.NET and C#.
Exp testing object oriented systems from existing system and
functional specifications.
Exp developing test cases and plans from Requirements
Do***entation.
Ability to work in a team environment and communicate
well both orally and in writing.


Scope: The client requires one or more Programmer ****ysts to perform
standard software development tasks associated with the
design and development of a new application or maintenance.
These tasks include ****ysis, design, prototyping, coding,
testing, training and do***entation.
Perform ****ysis of existing business and system use cases and
requirements do***entation to gain over all understanding of the
functionality the new application is required to perform. Perform
and participate in the technical reviews of components developed.
Communicate with project manager, technical team lead, team
members and customer about change requests and to understand
their needs. Utilize the Agency’s change management system and
version control systems as appropriate. Do***ent all work as
requested. Keep supervisor and management informed on
issues and the status of work planned and contemplated by
submitting weekly status reports. Interface as appropriate in
carrying out application testing responsibilities with data
****ysts, database administrators, network operations, security
officer and other IT peers and management. Other duties as
assigned.
