Skills: 4+yrs computer or telephony support role, systems ****ysis
and design methodology including two years of
telecommunications support.
Knowledge of telephony architecture, operating system(s) and
network design.
Knowledge of VoIP and IP telephony.
Exp in technical writing.
Knowledge of spreadsheets, word-processing and databases.
Skill in communicating effectively with people of all
technical levels.
Skill in giving and following technical instructions and in
planning and managing special projects.
Exp with State of Texas Procurements.
Exp in the voice telecommunications field, with emphasis on
call centers.
Familiarity with interactive voice response systems and
speech recognition.
Knowledge of web technologies and related interactions with
call centers.
Certified Cisco Network Administrator (CCNA).
Exp developing cost benefit ****yses.
Knowledge of and working skills with WordPerfect 8, MSWord,
Visio, GroupWise, and Office Suite.


Scope: The client requires one Telecommunications Specialist to
perform services as required for the implementation and
deployment of selected project(s). Perform research and
write technical briefings on current and future
telecommunication and call center technology. Work with the
telecommunications team to write a Request for Offer (RFO)
for telecommunications maintenance and upgrades. Develop RFO
evaluation criteria. Produce other technical do***ents and
perform other related duties as required. Perform detailed
internal do***entation. Communicate and works with people of
all technical levels in a team environment. Other
reasonable Telecommunication Specialist services as
necessary for the completion of the implementation and
deployment of selected project(s).
