~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Due to business demands and strategic marketing initiatives, we
have created an immediate need for a Sr. level Product
Consultant. This individual will be a key contributor in
achieving overall Seating and Storage sales objectives.

As a Product Consultant driven by excellence you will:
- Be responsible to collaborate, strategize and support various
internal and external customers to ensure wins with strategic
client projects and grow overall Haworth business.
- Work with Field Sales, Global Accounts, and Contract
Development teams to support Request for Bids and develop
/recommend pricing levels based on competitive information and
financial analysis to win the client project.
- Call targeted customers directly to discuss product features,
competitive positioning, adjust pricing, send/orders samples or
implement other competitive tactics.
- Frequently travel (overnight/international) to customers,
dealers and specific locations in target markets to make client
presentations or sales training.
- Compile, track and monitor various product, sales, financial,
competitive, trend or client data and statistics that identify or
support tactics.

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Successful candidates will possess the following skills,
experience and behaviors:
- Bachelors degree in business, marketing or equivalent.
- A minimum of five successful years of diversified experience in
corporate sales/marketing in contract furniture or closely
related industry. Field sales and/or direct experience working
in a dealer network experience is helpful.
- Successful project management and multi-tasking skills;
strategic and analytical thinking and financial and business
planning skills


- Proficient use of software such as MS Office: Word, Access,
Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, Email.
- The passion and drive to thrive in a fast-paced, high volume
time driven environment.
- The ability and willingness to travel up to 25%-30% of the time.
