Client in Rochester, MN has requirement for a programmer/analyst - duration is 12 month with possible extension.

Candidate must have 3 years experience in software development. The candidate needs to be an effective communicator with good listening skills and ability to work with diversified personality and expertise. The candidate needs to be able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks with minimum supervisory, deliver tangible results within a reasonable schedule.
Required skills and knowledge:
Strong understanding and experience in Object Oriented Methodology.
Strong understanding and experience in Web application development.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Visual C++.
Hands-on experience with Java, JavaScripts.
Hands-on experience with Macromedia Coldfusion programming and server management.
Understanding and experience with Sybase database management system and SQL.


Ability to articulate IT related subjects to non-IT savvy audience.

Preferred skills and knowledge:
Hands-on experience with MS Access.
Understanding of GCRC components and operation model.
Patient care industry experience.
Experience with rule-based expert decision support system.
Medical research experience.
