Required Technical Skills:

h 5 Years Business Continuity Planning / Contingency Planning Experience (preferably manufacturing environment)
h 10 Years general business experience
h Certified Business Continuity Planner desired
h College Degree preferred
h 2+ years experience in setup and execution of project plans
h 1+ years experience using automated project management tools (preferably MS Project)
h Technically competent in MS Office applications

Preferred Technical Skills:

h Experience in disaster recovery planning software application, preferably CBR, PreCovery / e-planner

Description of Role:
As a Business Resumption Coordinator the candidates principle role will be to assist in coordinating the development, implementation, maintenance and exercising of a corporate-wide business resumption program. Tasks will include developing various team recovery plan templates, guidelines and procedures for maintaining and exercising recovery plans for business units, interviewing business unit representatives and software training, and coordinating business unit activities for the Corporate Data Center Disaster Recovery exercise. Additionally the candidate will develop a workable project plan, update and track work according to the project plan and report the overall status of the program. The candidate will also assist in the development and ongoing Business Continuity Planning awareness program for the organization
