Required Technical Skills:
IT General
Minimum 5 years experience in large corporate IT environment.

Data Administration
Has Model Management experience using ERwin and the Model Mart.
Has complete understanding of shared data (that is, data shared across multiple business areas) in a legacy, new development, and purchased package environment.
Has understanding of data integration issues
Has designed and implemented shared data structures.
Has actually built logical and physical data and process models that were used to implement a system.
Has used processes that ensure quality of Database Design.
Has complete understanding of data requirements as related to Business Requirements and techniques.
Used OO techniques in conjunction with Data Management best practices

Methodology
Has used a systems development methodology (preferably Summit) on a project.
Capable of selecting the proper path through a methodology to meet the needs of a project.

Data Modeling Tools
Minimum 2 years experience with Erwin / ModelMart. Experience using Erwin to develop the logical & physical model plus the generation and modification of DDL.

Preferred Technical Skills:
Data Base Administration
Has worked as a data base administrator, preferably Oracle, Teradata, and or SQL Server environments.

Data Administration
Familiar with Data Warehousing tools and techniques
Used ETL tools (preferably Data Stage) for data movement
Designed SAP custom tables and has used BW toolset

Description of Project:
As part of the Purchasing and Plant Maintenance team, provide data/process analysis and design consulting for application development teams enforcing the Data Quality Review (DQR) process. Help the application team produce the required deliverables (ex. data and process models / OO models / generated DDL / Oracle Database). Liaison between application development and corporate data administration to ensure a desired level of data sharing is achieved across the organization. Other tasks include:
h Conduct / Coordinate DQRs for selected areas within Domain
h Coordinate data related issues with other support organizations (ex. work with the Database Administration group to create physical design).
h Participate in data policy, standard, and procedure development and continuous improvement.
h Identify and resolve data related conflicts between application projects.
