JOB TITLE: IT Architecture Support Technician
LOCATION: Helena, US-MT
JOB TYPE: Direct
SALARY : $45000 - $60000


DESCRIPTION:
Duties:
Establishment and assuring compliance with standard operating procedures for
the ongoing maintenance and quality assurance of the Architecture Team's
deliverables; Enhancement and maintenance of the classes and frameworks owned
by Architecture; Assurance of proper configuration of framework classes in all
WebSphere installations.
Development and Maintenance of all related documentation:
a. Definition and Function
b. Cross reference utilization
c. Metadata
d. Cross reference to related data items
e. XML Schemas
The incumbent will participate on development projects, will work under the
direction of the application architect, and will have direct responsibilities
for the maintenance of the architecture libraries. In addition, the
Architecture Support Technician will help configure and maintain the
Architecture Test Bed (shared with the eBusiness Development Team), and work
with relevant product support organizations to address product version bugs and
deficiencies.

Perform special projects as assigned.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have:
The ideal candidate will have experience and qualifications in:
1. Java and related J2EE standards,
2. J2EE frameworks from Apache Jakarta, and
3. System analysis and design skills to assure that the artifacts are
appropriately constructed.
4. XML,
5. Related tools being used in the development and maintenance environment,
including (XDE, XML Spy, JAX, version management tools, etc.)
6. College Degree in Information Technology or related Field
7. Three years of relevant experience
Other combinations of education and experience that could provide the
equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities will be evaluated and considered.
