~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
• Manage the daily operation of custodial and grounds staff
• Create and maintain work assignments and publish personnel
schedules for all custodial and grounds team members in a manner
that effectively meet resort standards. • Maintain and
effectively accomplish schedules of common areas cleaning and
maintenance as well as the maintenance and cleanliness of resort
grounds. • Monitor grounds, maintain site beauty, and oversee
maintenance and cleanliness of pools, spas and pool decks as well
as outside covered areas to ensure quality exceeds Resort
standards. • Ensure site beauty and safety awareness by looking
and reporting faulty items requiring repair or maintenance.
• Responsible for compliance, maintenance and forecasting of
annual Custodial/Grounds budget • Assist Director of Engineering
as assigned or required.

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
SOFTWARE SKILLS: • Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and email
TECHNICAL SKILLS: • Associates degree or two year technical
certificate • 4 years supervisory experience • Familiarity with
cleaning equipment and techniques • Basic scheduling skills and


Lift/carry 50 lbs or more • Frequent lifting of
supplies/equipment. • Extensive
standing/walking/reaching/stooping/bending and kneeling. • Manual
dexterity and mobility required. PERSONAL SKILLS: • Must be able
to work independently and make decisions regarding priorities of
tasks/functions. • Must understand the Standards for
cleanliness and maintenance of all common areas inside and
outside. • Must be able to lead and motivate a custodial and
grounds staff to achieve the highest resort Standards. • Must
have the ability to communicate with staff verbally and in
writing to clearly outline expectations of performance and
processes. • Demonstrate good judgment when dealing with guests
and staff members
