[DESCRIPTION] The HR Generalist is responsible for ensuring
alignment of business objectives, work culture and HR
programs/policies. Engage the client in assessment, problem
identification, and planning in job design, talent assessment,
work flow, etc. Provide oversight on various initiatives. Work on
the most complex projects spanning various HR disciplines.
Participate in business plan discussions, providing the HR
perspective. Propose HR interventions in support of area business
plans. Partner with managers to improve their ability to lead and
manage effectively; identify and prescribe developmental
activities to improve business results. Coach/develop functional
leadership team on HR asset management. Partner with managers to
identify staff relations issues and develop strategy and
programs. Collaborate across Citi Cards to develop strategy to
optimize employee/management relationships. [REQUIREMENTS] 5-8
years of relevant Human Resources experience, with 3-5 years
experience in specialized functions within HR. Bachelors Degree
or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred. Ability to
select and utilize behavioral sciences/OD tools with client
organization. Theory and experience in research methodology;
sound understanding of HR theories and principles. Ability to
integrate various HR objectives and programs across multiple HR
disciplines. Ability to identify/recommend/facilitate business
process redesign efforts. People management skills and project
management skills. Effective at working in a fast-paced
environment and managing change. Strong consulting skills;
influencing and negotiation skills. Effective team player.
Ability to function independently with limited review of work.
Proven ability to effectively resolve staff relations issues.
Strong knowledge of current, applicable labor laws. Strong
ability to deliver presentations. Proficient in standard software
(Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Extensive employee relations
experience and experience supporting an operations population
preferred. Preference for candidates who express willingness to
relocate.
