Description: Masters or PhD with research experience in neuroimmunology and or remyelination biology. Must apply understanding of MS and EAE pathology to establishment of relevant animals models and employ these models for validation of new mechanisms and selection of new drug candidates. Must be willing to work majority of time hands on in the laboratory. Must have leadership skills to lead project teams or functional teams. Will contribute to a comprehensive research strategy in the area of Multiple Sclerosis drug discovery; knowledge and lab work must translate to yearly objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Establish relevant animals models and employ these models for validation of new mechanisms and selection of new drug candidates.
2. Candidate will lead project teams or functional teams
3. Candidate will contribute to a comprehensive research strategy in the area of Multiple Sclerosis and neuroinflammation drug discovery; knowledge and lab work will translate to yearly objectives.
Requirements : Knowledge & Skills:
Leadership of small and medium teams; communication to broad spectrum of audiences complex and expert to non neuroscientists; team player, able to interface across teams internally, globally, and with external collaborators; ability to handle programs and problem solve at high level of complexity.

Education/ Experience:
MS/PhD Training in neuroscience/neuroimmunology experience in neuroimmunology/EAE lab Histology and/or neuroanatomy and/or electrophysiology not necessary but a plus Experience in pharmaceutical business not necessary but a plus
