Description: Voorhees Hospital’s maternity center provides the most sophisticated, comprehensive care available, from prenatal support through labor and delivery. Our L&D unit delivers over 5,000 babies each year. It is part of the comprehensive maternal child health services offered at Virtua Health.

Part-time 24hrs/wk, float 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am varied days with every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation requirements.

Responsible for the total nursing needs of assigned patients, including: assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. Coordinates patient care on the unit and communicates extensively with other care givers, physicians, patient and/or family or significant others. Current NJ RN license or eligible. Diploma, Associate’s Degree and/or BSN. Must be able to complete venipuncture certification. BLS-C required. Mother/Baby experience preferred.
