~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
The primary duties of this position are to assist with exisiting
project work and lead the environmental sciences projects with
the US Army Corps of Engineers. Other responsibilities include
transportation and general land use planning services for state
and federal agencies, municipalities and private clients. More
specific duties may include collecting project related data which
may include research, interviews with government agencies and
clients, map reviews, field investigations for wetlands, land
use, etc. Assimilates and manages data. Prepares constraints
mapping. Defines the level of environmental ****ysis required.
Conducts environmental impact assessments. Performs complex
assignments, making independent decisions on problems and
methods. Assists in preparation for and participation in public
information meetings and hearings. Assists public and private
clients with permit coordination, acquisition and compliance for
wetland impacts, bridge construction, threatened/endangered
species etc.

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
BS in Environmental Science or related.<br><br>2-7 years related
environmental assessment experience.<br><br>Thorough knowledge of
wetland delineation, USCOE, field investigation techniques, and
agency coordination requirements.<br><br>Excellent writing skills.
