Marketing Offer Manager

This contract position is responsible for offer manager duties
relative to clients hand held device product in the retail
prosumers arena while the permanent Offer Manager is on maternity
leave.

This position primarily involves executing on existing offer
marketing projects as outlined: incentive contests, promotional
offers, merchandising or offer pilots, performance reporting,
retail collateral, sales aids, product enhancements, device
launches etc. This position works closely with Channel Marketing
to ensure their direction and program execution support at the
HQ, Regional, and local market levels. This position also
interacts daily with Research in Motion to ensure the vendor is
providing the marketing and sales support needed to meet retail
business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Programs: Work with RIM, Channel Marketing, and Marcom
Services to execute on planned & new offer marketing programs,
including device launch, collateral, merchandising pilots, offer
bundles, advertising, PR, events, acquisition and customer-based
marketing and sales promotions. Partner with distribution
channels and Channel Marketing to develop, implement and track
initiatives.

Offer Lifecycle Management: Monitor, measure and report offer
performance (gross add, revenue, churn, ARPU, and marketing
programs).

Product Marketing and Business Planning: As requested, this
person will support other members of the Offer team relative to
new offer concepts, business goals for subscriber acquisition,
revenue, profitability, business planning, financial analysis,
product marketing and effective channel marketing.

Partner Management: Develop joint marketing programs with
existing partners and manage third party product requirements to
meet revenue goals.


REQUIRED SKILLS: Candidates resume should reflect the following
experience:

- 3+ years experience in consumer product marketing with a
history of management of product, pricing, promotions, marketing
program, and distribution strategies.

- Excellent communication skills in demonstrating clear,
pro-active communication to management, while working in a cross
functional team environment that requires constant communication
and leveraging the skills of fellow teammates.

- Track record of success in profitably acquiring retail
customers and growing revenue. Successful launch of a new
high-tech product in multiple channels through a multi-media
marketing campaign.

- Solid experience managing and partnering with hardware or
software vendors.

- Creativity to conceive new products, promotions, and pricing
models.

- Demonstrated leadership skills with peers, subordinates and


succeed.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent
experience required. Master's degree or other advanced degree in
related discipline preferred.
