~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Architect to perform layout and detailing. Should have
production/design experience in preparation and layout of
architectural contract documents and specifications. Establishes
client and internal meetings and participates in reviews with
various governing agencies for code compliance. Conducts design
development and contract document work sessions at project site
in conjunction with Project Manager and other disciplines. Is
responsible to coordinate workload through design development and
construction document phases to complete documents on schedule.
Reviews architectural documents for areas of conflict with all
disciplines. Writes/edits architectural specifications, and
works directly with owner and owner’s legal staff to establish
and document the legal parameters of the construction contract.
Coordinates and assists, with affected disciplines, with any
addendum, RFIs, CPRs and change orders and is responsible to
incorporate agreed upon changes into the project documents.
Provides, on an as needed basis, construction contract
administration.

Requires a Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture.
<br>Maintains architectural professional registration. <br>7-20
years of commercial experience – healthcare experience
preferred. <br>Strong knowledge of codes and good planning
skills. <br>Flexibility in assignments and leading teams.
<br>Experience with AutoCAD and MS Office. <br><br>* This
position is located in Detroit, MI.
