Description: I have been asked to identify regionally local Independent Consultant
JAVA Developer candidates who are well versed (hands-on development
and design experience) in the Java suite of products (i.e. J2EE),
general knowledge of RDMS (i.e. Oracle, DB/2), knowledge of WebSphere
and/or WebLogic and experience developing on both UNIX and Windows NT
platforms for an initial six months+ independent contract in the

The selected regionally local Independent Consultant Java Developer
candidate will participate in the definition, design and
implementation of a number of e-business initiatives.

Qualified regionally local Independent Consultant Java Developer
candidates are required to have a minimum of 5 years overall
application development experience. The ideal candidate should have a
minimum of 3 years of Web development experience with Java Tools. In
addition, the candidate must have participated in at least one full
System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) web-based project. Successful
candidates are required to have with experience in large systems
development efforts.

Other Required skills:

-5 years minimum of overall hands on experience in design and
development.
-Well versed (hands-on development and design experience) in the Java
suite of products (i.e. J2EE).
-Experience in developing on both UNIX and Windows NT platforms.
-General knowledge of RDMS (i.e. Oracle, DB/2).
-Knowledge of WebSphere and/or WebLogic.
-Certified in Sun Java developer is a plus.
-Strong communication skills.
-Must be a team player.
-Ability to interact with all levels of management, technical and
non-technical (i.e. business users).
-Health care industry knowledge is a plus.

This high profile project requires qualified candidates that will have
clear English speaking skills not requiring repeating during rapid
