Responsibilities to include: Development of complex voice
systems designs which will require in-depth knowledge of Voice
Carrier Services, PBX architectures, CTI, ISDN, Traffic
Engineering and Voice Mail. Required to manage both the stated
requirements of the customer and hi/her knowledge of technology.
This will require that the engineer be able to critically review
the customer's requirements an ascertain the most appropriate
and cost effective design. Technical skills: Extensive
experience with Voice Carrier Services, PBXs, PBX components,
Voice Mail and components, PBX networking, and ISDN is essential.
Specific vendor knowledge of AT&T, Rolm, and NTI are required.
Non-technical skills: MS Office, Visio and excellent
organizational skills.
