About the Company Peoplefirst Rehabilitation, a Fortune 500
company, is currently recruiting a Speech/Language Pathologist to
join our team of healthcare professionals in our Vermont District
area. Focused opportunities are currently in Morrisville.
Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive resident evaluations and
develop a treatment plan; perform therapy in accordance with the
plan, evaluate results and consult with care team when
appropriate; integrate input from team members, resident and
family into the care plan. Document resident care in accordance
with Peoplefirst, regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting
requirements. Supervise and guide COTAs and aides; instruct
resident's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs.
Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.
Make presentations in support of marketing efforts, at team
conferences and in-services. Conduct job responsibilities in
accordance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the
Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional
standards and applicable state/federal laws.
Qualifications
Understands principles of growth and development for the entire
life span with the ability to provide care appropriate for adult
and geriatric patients as appropriate to the patient population.
Ability to work under
stress and in emergency situations.
Ability to communicate in English effectively through


Pathology at the Clinical level in the state(s) where services
are rendered. Graduate
of an approved program of Speech, Hearing Science and Language
Development, culminating in a minimum of a Master's Degree. CFY's
are encouraged to apply.
