Major delays on parcels entering Western Canada via the postal system (via)
If you sell into Canada and haven't yet heard, there is a currently a
5-week customs backlog on parcels being shipped internationally via the
postal system into western Canada (BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and
Manitoba). This is due to the fact that Vancouver is now the only
portal for international mail entering those provinces.
Until recent closures, there were also international mail portals at
Calgary, Alberta, and Winnipeg, Manitoba; however, USPS apparently
decided to stop shipping mail to those portals, and as US parcels
constitute the bulk of what was passing thru those centers, it no longer
made sense to keep them open.

Alternatives include the private courier and express companies, but
beware that virtually anything entering Canada thru those companies will
result in the recipient having to pay a hefty customs brokerage fee --
typically starting at around 40 bucks (even on a $10 item!)
