OT: What does intel confidential mean on a cpu (intel)

I have a CPU that is marked "Intel Confidential" and am curious as to what
this is? any insight.

sounds like a Beta- or promotion cpu one they send out to testers to see
check it out.

well then thanks, in leu of that info is anyone interested in a 2 ghz xeon
cpu 512k cache.. obviously a production sample comes complete with
heatsink and fan.

open to offers, a quick web check i found lowest price of 206.50 US but i
will not use that as a guide for what i will take for it

Found an "Intel confidential" 600MHz on Ebay for 65 US... so I dunno
what speed your Intel Conf is, but that'll give you an idea to start
with I guess...
