Cheap but Still Trustworthy/Reliable Domain Name Registrars In Canada/US? (Tea maker Cougar Boy pioneer sandisk a8 l)

Hi, can someone please tell me some of the cheaper domain name
registrars in Canada or the US?

What I was told was that even if you find the cheapest registrar, you
need to be sure of their reliability and that they're not a "fly by
night" type of operation to ensure that you'll retain possession of
the names you register for the duration of the registration.

I know you get what you pay for, but if you guys can suggest a few
domain name registrars who've been around for a while and yet are
cheap, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

You could try 1and1 , the were giving out free hosting accounts and may
still be with loads of features and space.
They have been around for a number of years to my knowledge and i believe
the domain price for .com/net/org domains is $5.99 Us,
www.1and1.com
