PRICE ALERT:

Ok, so I can't believe it either, but I was in BB this morning (lovely and
quiet! They had no TVs, PCs or stereos on ...) and their flyer has the above
drive at normal price, minus an instant discount of around $70, minus an MIR
of around $30, taking the grand total down to $50!

I haven't got the exact figures, because I put the flyer down and lost it,
but the final one is legit. Now obviously you'll be paying taxes on close to
the full amount, and I'm sure that'll take it up some, but either way it
seems like a good deal!

Before you ask, no I didn't buy one. Just wanted to pass the message on.

Merivale road across from future shop

If I remember correctly, they bought Future Shop about 19 months ago. Seeing
as there is a For Lease sign in front of the Merivale Rd Future Shop store I
suspect they won't be 'competing' against each other much longer. They're
just waiting for the lease to run out to avoid the penalties :-)

They refused to match a price 20% less than their advertised price. Went to
futureshop and got the deal with extra bonuses.
