Default The European Capital of Culture 2004

2004 Genoa is the European Capital of Culture

on these pages I offer an apartment for rent, but also a lot of links
to make you more curious and to find out why this town is worth a
visit. It may have come to the worlds attention with the G8 Conference
in 2001, but there is much more to it.

Genoa has to offer a long history. An enormous treasurs in the
"centro storico", one of the largest middle age cities in Europe is
waiting for your visit.

The city offers a wide variety of activities for the current year.
Starting from the Porto Antico, redesigned by Renzo Piano, where
Europe's largest Acquarium is located you find a lot of attractions
for children and adults.

The climate of the city is particularly pleasing all year long and as
from spring time until fall you can enjoy the beaches surrounding the
city, a boat ride to Portofino and much much more.

For those who love the Opera: Lorin Maazel will direct Florestan on
April 20th, 22nd, 25th, 27th and 30th of 2004

But these are many other cultural highlights in the course of the
year.

Have a look at the above site and convince yourself, that it is worth
to looks trhough all the links.
