This is really embarassing, but I gotta ask. The other day I was in
the shower and while cleaning my rear-end I noticed what felt like a
zit near my anus. It's kinda hard to describe... Anyway, I dont
really have any of the standard symptoms (no itching, no bleeding,
etc). How common is hemmerhoids in a 20 year old? I have an
appointment to see a doctor but its not for a few days and I'm worried
as hell. I can actually see "it".... I'm really hoping someone might
be able to give me some reassurance if they looked at a picture of it
(I NEVER EVER thought when I bought my digi-cam that I would be using
it to take a picture of my butt <laughing>). Anyone up for it??

Get yourself checked by your doctor. Nobody can tell you from a picture what
it can be.

Most probably it will be nothing serious but it's worth a complete exam.

'Roids are just inside the anus, not outside. It could really be
a pimple. Does it feel like it has a soft center? Or a white
head?

If it feels hard, it could be just a fatty cyst, which is
harmless. However, it's a good idea to see your doctor.
