I'm taking Femara, and my episodes of hot flushes and extreme sweating had
been occuring almost every 1/2 hour, all day and night. Very, very
unpleasant and I didn't want to go anywhere because it's embarrasing to
suddenly be dripping with sweat and having people ask if I am alright.

Finally I went to my family doctor and asked if anything could be done about
this and he put me on Dixarit (Clonidine) 2 x 0.025MG twice a day. It's
working! I thought I would let the rest of you know about this because now
my sweating episodes are only two or three times during the day, and the
night sweats are reduced, although more frequent than the daytime ones.
