Question on symptoms
I had the RRP August 1st. Lately I have noticed that I have some
symptoms that I had a couple years ago like feeling like I have to go and
when I do there is nothing there. Sometimes I have the feeling like I have
to go frequently. And, sometimes after I urinate I still feel like I have
to go. Sound familiar? Aren't those symptoms of BPH or prostatitis? Only,
I don't have a prostate ???
Another symptom I have noticed is that sometimes (nothing with this
seems to be constant) when I go it gives me a sensation that sends chills up
my spine. I do not want to call it painful urination, but it sure does have
a sensation that you cannot miss. No puss or blood or anything like that,
so I do not think I have a urinary tract infection. Finally, sometimes when
I go I really have to "push" to make a stream. Otherwise I am back to
peeing from my balls, i.e., it just drips out.
Any ideas? I do have an appointment with the uro this week (they set it
up ??) so I will ask then. If I have a scope procedure in my future, what
is that like? Do they knock you out for that (hope so)?
On the incontinence I have seen some improvement at work. When I get
home and start my second job, i.e., being on my feet and moving around, I
leak a lot. Standing/lifting/stooping etc. is very different from sitting
in front of the computer all day at work.
Keep up the good fight friends.
Thank you.
