Default Sound like a tension headache? (headache tumor)

Hello everyone, I have a question to ask...

Lately whenever I stare at my computer screen for more then about
3-4 hours at
the end of the day I feel a ton of pressure Inside my head. Kind of a
feeling
that my head is gonna burst. Like a ballon with too much air.
this sensation lasts for a while usally disapeering if I moderate
myself on computer usage, in about 3-5 days. Does this sound like a
tension headache? the feeling of pressure is constant and stays
constant if I don't stop using the computer ( I CAN'T HELP IT COUNTER
STRIKE SO ADDICTING )
say as in before the holidays it began feeling enormously bad, then
I went away for the holidays it all but disappeared I'm guessing
becuase I wasn't straining my eyes in front of a monitor for 3 hours
strait. Yet when I returned to the monitor the feeling of pressure
returned..... augh so annoying! I guess I should accutally start
wearing my contacts? I doubt this could be anything serious like a
tumor or anything.. It's just the pressure gets really debilitating,
sometimes it even causes dizziness. So Is this probably just chronic
tension headache that just keeps on giving until I let up on the eye
strain? Or should I go to a doctor?

sorry about the name, my
little brother uses this account with our family email, so I can't
make another ....... ya ok I'll go back to playing Counter
strike......

Default Sound like a tension headache? (headache migraine)

Whenever I am using a computer there can be no other lights on in the
room or I get a strobe effect,, (it has something to do with the
harmonics of the frequency of the computer screen and the 60 hz
flashing of any AC light,, but it slows the flashing of the screen to
the point that I can clearly see it, ( I know engineering past showing
here,,) but it will trigger a major migraine for me in a very short
time,, also the brighter the screen is set the quicker it will give me
a headache,,,

If it is new to you and especially if it keeps coming back it really
should be checked out,, there are some very bad things that can cause
headaches too,, and although rare they are serious enough to not take
the chance as in almost all of them the earlier they are diagnosed the
better odds the person has.

BTW there's nothing wrong with your little brother's name ,, at least
not to me,, it just tells me he's a J.R.R. Tolkien fan,, and that's a
good thing in my book.

Try an LCD monitor. I use a 1920x1600 screen that works
perfectly for long hours of work.

You might try changing the refresh rate for your video. Low rates can give
you a headache.
Right-click on the desktop, select properties, settings, advanced, monitor,
Screen Refresh Rate. Set it to 85 Hz or higher--only rates your monitor
supports should be listed.

Ok here goes......The Wold was a northern city of Rohan. You know, the
one with the super walmart! Am I correct? Now fly on down here and
let's do lunch and don't forget to bring the key and the gold.!

You got it Dan.....how the heck are ya anyway???

Yes, there I am, west of the Misty Mountains and east of the Anduin
(the great river).
My forefathers used to be in the jewelry business. Made their fortune
on a set of rings and retired.

Lea, you missed out because I am not a city but, in the words of Funk
and Wagnalls, an "undulating tract of open upland."

BobW
Nice to see you Dan, hope all is well.
