Well to tell the truth,,,, I had just finished making a CEREC restoration
about 20 minutes before the power went out. I was cruising the internet for dental related learning when the power actually dropped out, waiting for the RDH to finish her last patient of the day. I actually can probably pull the power grid down a micron or two from my office. I typically will run about 36 fluorescent lamps, 8 computers, three scanners, one copier, one FAX machine, 4 printers, 3 sterilizers, a dish washer, central air conditioning, lab equipment, 2 suctions, 2 air compressors, etc. I picture one of those "B" grade movies where the mad scientist (me?) turns on his elaborate reverse transmutator machine and all the lights in NYC go out. I only turn on the furnace about 8-10 days of each year. I have to run AC until it will no longer work due to the temperature differential of the outside air. -- ~+--~+--~+--~+--~+-- Stephen Mancuso, D.D.S.
