Approx. 3.5 months ago I had two (2) implants performed (#30 & #19).
I'm supposed to go back for abutemant & a crown in about a month.
However, ever since the implants, the bone on each side has been
inflamed creating a bump on both my cheeks (however, I feel no pain).
I talked to the surgeon that performed the operation over the
telephone and wasn't quite sure what that was. He said that if it
were an infection, there would be pain, puss, and back breath. He
said he had never experienced this before.

I am now feeling a bit concerned and would appreciate any feedback.

You should make an appointment with your surgeon to examine
your implant sites.

My implant got infected and there was no pain, pus, or bad breath.
(check your spelling)

My case was a little involved.

I had to have a graft and a goretex membrane was placed over the graft
to hold it in place while healing. The surgeon suspected that the membrane
was not completely sealed under the tissue and was acting as a wick to
draw bacteria into the surgical site. He removed the membrane,
no big deal, a little nitrous and a local. It took about 10 minutes.

I don't know what your specific situation is but your surgeon will.
Always best to get something checked just to be sure.
