Default Lost Retainer

I have had a retainer for about 10 years now, and I recently (about a
month ago) lost the upper. Now I haven't been wearing it as
consistently every night in the past several years like I should, so
I've noticed movement in my teeth over the course of several days
(mainly, my two front teeth start to turn inward, leaving a gap
between them).

My question is this...is it possible to get the retainer replaced,
given that my teeth have already shown movement, e.g., if a mold is
taken, wouldn't the mold be of my teeth as they are now, in the wrong
position? Or can the dentist adjust for that? I put off getting the
retainer so long because I kept telling myself it would turn up in the
house...it hasn't, so I imagine somehow it might have been thrown away
or something.

What are your thoughts?
