Seeing what we want to see
Today while driving along the freeway with a friend, there were mounds of
orange bags along the side of the road. My friend said, "Oh... I thought
those were pumpkins!" I said, "Who says they aren't?"
Pumpkins or stuffed orange bags? As we roll along the streets of life, are
people watching for what they want to see or watching out for what is or
what might actually be there?
I tend to think it's a bit of both.
