Ten questions for dentists
Instead of "members" of the Dental Board, I think you mean "licensed
by" the Dental Board. The Dental Board has as "members" only those
people appointed by the state government to run the Board, and there
are fewer than ten dentists on the Board.
So when your insurance company "only accepts" dentists who have
licenses, that isn't saying much! Every single licensed dentist in the
state has a license, from the very best to the very worst.
The Dental Board may revoke or suspend a dentist's license if they
investigate a case and decide against him. But the Board will NOT
collect any money for you, or get your money back for you. For that,
you have to go to court, unless you used the Peer Review system
instead.
I hope your appointment today results in improving your situation!
