Bill,
Your note to Steve, below, is most interesting. I hadn't noticed it
before. When you first addressed me as a Californian, in another
message, how I wondered, did you know that? Aiming toward anonymity, I
apparently spilled the bean along the way.
As a transplanted New Yorker whose experienced life in a few different
states, It's impossible not to notice how a number of things - some
good, some bad, are indeed done quite differently here than elsewhere.
