Tedi, I don't understand something. You are participating in Usenet, yet
you do not want your posts to be archived for the future use of others with similar interests? You may not understand my curiosity. I looked at your Google profile, and I see that you have an interest in very few newsgroups with the account you are using in smd. I can only see what I can see, of course. If you have other accounts, I wouldn't know of them from a simple search. In my opinion (and I am not speaking for anyone other than myself), I think that to participate in a public forum, which is what Usenet is, by way of publishing your thoughts and ideas in newsgroups, carries with it a certain "responsibility" of maintaining the flow of these postings for "tomorrow". What do you have to gain by requesting that your posts are not preserved in the archives hosted by Google? What do you have to lose if your posts are read by someone else in the days, weeks, months, years to come? By posting to smd (or elsewhere), you have already contributed to archives. Do you have some other idea about this that we should all consider? The Webby in article 2609de09.0308270900.14271883@posting.google.com, Tedi at |

Hi WB,
If your patient asks for the models, do you give the original or a duplicate? TW in article cj4qkvoe2dvast5tr71pjphel1ged0b93i@4ax.com, WB at |

Hi Sabra,
I thought there was no issue with archiving her posts. She found that the "bots" were harvesting her email address for Spam, and she is doing this to limit the Spam. -- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Stephen Mancuso, D.D.S. drsteve@home....msen.com Troy, Michigan USA +_+_+_+_+_+_+_+_+_+_+_+_+_+_+_+ This posting is intended for informational or conversational purposes only. Tedi,
In my office, I toss out any models as soon as the final product is delivered to the patient. Tougher cases get the models photographed and stored in the digital dental record first. No way to store all that stuff forever.
