Henry replied, "So do the "born-again" Christians, the Republican Party
and the NRA."

Clearly, the action referenced that Henry says the named groups also do
is "use the radio effectively to spread their lies." There isn't an iota
of ambiguity there that I can see.

Then Henry goes on to say, "That a bad entity makes use of technology
does not make the technology good or bad in and of itself. That's a
false syllogism." This sentence does not in any way modify his first
sentence. He is simply saying that just because a "bad entity"
(obviously meaning such as the Nazis, born-again Christians, the
Republican Party, and the NRA) uses a certain technology to spread their
lies does not mean that the technology itself is bad (i.e., it's okay
for B&H to use the same technology as the Nazis and the other "bad
entity" groups). That is Henry's "false syllogism."

And in this of course he is correct. No one should blame B&H for using
the radio simply because the Nazis et al. also used the radio. That
would indeed be a false syllogism.

That last is not and never was the problem, and no amount of spinning,
twisting, obfuscation, or contortion will make it so, though I must say
the amount of work that has gone into the attempt already in this thread
is a wonderful thing to see.

The problem, once again, is entirely in Henry's first sentence, "So do
[use the radio to spread their lies] the 'born-again' Christians, the
Republican Party and the NRA." That is the part that Henry is now trying
to disown, and that his friends here are trying to help him with through
energetic reinterpretation.
