Hide your astonishment.
My first electronics project in the realm of RF (radio frequency reception
and processing) has proven to be a success, even if it took me a year to
build and troubleshoot it. It's a preselector (meaning that it tunes in one
frequency over all others) and RF amplifier, which feeds the chosen
amplified signal into my shortwave radio for further processing. And boy
does it work. I need to add a fine tuning knob to help in tuning in
stations that I didn't even know were there before, because their signal is
so weak.
Sorry, but I had to tell someone, and my wife is tired of hearing about it.
Doing okay in other realms too, but this is a real boost to my self-esteem.
May try something seriouis next. Don't know.
Oh, and I started a diet. Have only lost about five pounds, but it still
feels good.
Hope everyone else is doing okay. Would like to hear from some of you
again. Hate it when it gets so quiet...
((((((((((HUGS)))))))))) to any and all who want them.
