I am 73 years with bph several years now. I take Terazosin 5mg caps, one
in morning and one at bedtime.
Last week I stimulated myself to an ejaculation then about an hour later
urinated. The stream came out forcefully and with it some blood and a clot
the size of a pinky fingernail. This was a shocker to have a clot spurting
out. I have had kidney stones where the urine was bloody until I passed the
stone but this totally unexpected clot I can only surmise came from the
region of the prostate. Sometimes when I ejaculate the prostate seems to
convulse painfully.
If anyone else has had this experience please let me know. I will be seeing
my urologist in a few days about it. Last time I saw him a month ago the
psa's were about 2.5 and the digital exam showed no hard spots and my urine
was negative and clear.
