friend of mine is in the hospital. he lost a kidney to a tumor. no
pathology back yet.

how often do kidney tumors prove malignant.

they did a bone scan before the removal operation. tumor had taken over
entire kidney. good news is that results were negative. bad news was that
they thought a bone scan would provide useful information.

If I'm understanding correctly, the bone scan was negative.
